3/30/11	Today turns out to be a wealth of information. We’ve got visits to porn sets, secret hints regarding major industry players, anal sex insights, bootleg video, puns, alliteration, personal life retrospective on famous porn directors, a new camera … oh, and Bobbi Starr and Cheyenne Silver naked. 3/27/11	Supposedly we should always associate more importance with the journey rather than the destination. Understanding that, however, when you happen to be travelling to Cytherea’s house, “the journey” has a tough task ahead of itself if it presumes to actually secure its level of preeminent significance. While we can’t honestly say that the Honorable Journey turned out to be “better” than hanging out with Cy, it did completely entertain all the Geeks in the car. Of course we happen to proponents of the theory that basically anything having to do with Cytherea will be a lot of fun. 3/23/11	As it turned out, today seems a rather odd day to be “Flying Under the Radar” as was our plan. We lost a Hollywood legend this morning, and odd as it seems we’ve often used Elizabeth Taylor as an example to risque clients that there certainly exists a way to be both sexy and classy. (Then we usually follow that comment by noting that you really don’t have to get married eight times just to enjoy sex with different people, but that’s sort of off-topic right now.) We’re sorry she’s gone around here, but she can still serve as a fine example of pure, strong, womanhood for some years to come we expect. Perhaps she even added to her aura in her later years. One thing about Ms. Taylor, she certainly did not go gentle into that good night. In addition we endeavor mightily (the best way to endeavor, truth be told) to maintain a promised confidence. If you “C” anything otherwise, well, oops. 3/12/11	Most of you probably haven’t spent much time looking at web traffic statistics, because, let’s face it: Why in the world would you want to do something as horribly geeky as that? Well, some of us around here actually enjoy that sort of thing, and sometimes we’ll notice just the oddest trends. Over the last couple of weeks, for example, we’ve been getting a lot of searches for Heather Vuur. (She was Vandeven. Then she was Vuur. Then she went back to Vandeven again. People and their names in this business … .) Now we wouldn’t consider it “odd” because people are interested in Heather, because that makes perfect sense to us, but considering what we may be able to talk about soon, today’s story of D.Minion’s first foray “Oh, Vuur” the hills to visit with Heather seemed to make a lot of sense, so we decided to sort of throw it in out of order here. You’ll find it much easier to browse through the 150 or so photos of Heather with our new system, and you might begin to give some thought to what we “may” be able to talk about soon. 3/11/11	Nary as mystical a thing exists for a typical male as a “Girls Night Out” – well, except a “Girls Night In” probably. When new risque compatriots Shayla LaVeaux, Cytherea, and Cheyenne Silver bond together one late night in Las Vegas, you can imagine what delicious decadence could transpire. Don’t get overly excited here, though. Nothing like that happened. Actually we didn’t see evidence of any lingerie at all, and not even one pillow fight. 3/7/11	The Message Board over on the Members’ Side has been going gangbusters, which seems a little counter-intuitive if you think about it, actually. People have been getting quite excited about our upcoming visit to Las Vegas to record the ever-nubile Cytherea this week. Local fans have deluged us with a myriad of suggestions regarding potential locations for the shoot, which, considering it does happen to be Cytherea we’re talking about, seems quite logical in the scheme. Oddly, almost all of those ideas involve having Cytherea “visit” at the homes of the local fans. We figure they must all be very hopeful as regards the growing success of CythereasWetWorld.com. 3/5/11	Assuming you’re not consumed with Sirius radio’s 24-hour marathon station they’ve called “Tigerblood” today, you might have time to consider that Estiercol de Caballo Solamente means Horse Manure Only in Spanish. Not that we attempt to editorially equate those two things, of course, but the phrase does come into play with the first day on the set of The Flying Pink Pig, courtesy of D.Minion. Honestly, she has an actual photo included – of the phrase, not the organic substance. Long-time members will recall what being on set with D.Minion can mean, and we’ll warn you that she had Shayla LaVeaux, Sunny Lane, Nicki Hunter, and Erica McLean to play with on this day, not to mention a menagerie of dogs and horses. 12/31/10	At this point we’ve pretty much given up on Business as Usual around here, as everyone has pretty much fallen into the Full Panic mode about the upcoming convention. When we decided to put that Countdown for Gibby on top of New Stuff, we didn’t really anticipate that this would result in common wails of AAAARGH! in the office – every time somebody here opens up the site to check something. Presuming we haven’t been overrun by a collection of pirates, one might assume that the old “Ignorance is Bliss” theory definitely seems to hold water in this establishment. 12/22/10	It’s … a Poetry, Nudity, Gala (Oh, My!) … And for what it’s worth, we’ve never heard tell of Cytherea actually appearing in a home having magically come down the chimney, but we can assure you that she’d be welcome most anywhere we suspect. At the very least she provides a lot of decorative value to the area, regardless of the season. And while we make no claim to Shakespearean aspirations around here, we can do a dandy bit with the Limerick. If you have the time to wander through, you might even enjoy the poetic license. 12/20/10	Did you know that even porn stars can get jealous when “their” man participates in a scene? 12/13/10	Think about “C’mon Baby Light My Fire” … And if you know anything at all about Cytherea’s “speciality” in her adult performances, you know that if she did in fact light your fire, she could at least put it out all by herself. If you don’t happen to know what we’re talking about with Cytherea, well, you certainly will after a careful perusal of today’s video example. 4/30/10	Quite a few NFL rookie training camps opened today, as we’re certain each of you knows, since listening to anything at all that concerns either upcoming primary elections or whatever the government in Washington D.C. – and which political party thinks the other one has been taken over by morons – has long since ceased being interesting. Well, in Denver (in case you missed this vital information) they had a whopping 32 new team members present for this first day of workouts. And they had 47 members of the press in attendance to document all the vital information stemming from the day. They do like their Broncos in Colorado. … And speaking of Colorado, we have some news of our own regarding the beautiful state, and a bit of its homegrown beauty, actually. 4/28/10	Considering it has been quite difficult as of late to get a plane ride out of London, it’s probably a good thing that Maverick can find fun things to do within the city. Apparently the volcanic ash has not affected Mav’s mental capicity (yet). 4/25/10	You love Fun Facts, right? … So Yahoo, clearly one of the better-known Internet Giants has been running a very simple poll that only had one question in it: “Are you in favor of the Health Care Reform Bill?” And NFL.com, presumably not nearly such a major player in the virtual world, has been running a rather more complicated poll, theoretically attempting to determine “The Top 75 Draft Picks of All Time.” (This wording sounds a bit like we could vote for Charleton Heston in Ben Hur, but it could just be that “Time” didn’t really start until the 1960’s.) … Now as of last Friday, slightly over 39 thousand people had voted on the Yahoo poll, and somewhere over 45 million people had voted on the Pro Football question. We’re not going to try to draw any conclusions for you from that little tidbit of information, but we will tell you that Michael Ninn did not cast a vote in either arena, because he’s been rather busy being all artistic and such. 4/21/10	Clearly almost everyone finds themselves now camped in front of ESPN, waiting breathlessly for the NFL Draft to begin tomorrow. For some odd reason a few of the office people here think that it being Earth Day might be of more significance, but those people are obviously disturbed. … On the off chance that you have a computer near your television, we’re filling you in a bit more with “Knowing Cytherea” — the modern version. We’ve got a lot of the demonstrably liquid lass in the queue these days, and not one of us feels any problem with this. 4/15/10	Tax Day may seem like an odd day to tell a Love Story, but if you think about it, Love generally has no rhyme or reason, and besides most of us love it when we finally put the tax junk away for another year. 4/9/10	Some surprises in life are better than others. OK. So some surprises in life can really basically suck, but today’s “hint” of a surprise doesn’t suck at all. … Oh. 8/31/09	This weekend we learned that “nothing is impossible when you have scaffolding” – which honestly has nothing whatsoever to do with traveling with porn stars, ostensibly the topic for today. 8/20/09	You know the best thing about summer interns? OK. They’re free, but do you know the other best thing about summer interns? … They’re always amazingly happy to go back and blow the dust off of all the things we’ve meant to do, oh, for about a decade or so now. Of course they also find some truly bizarre things, some sadly uncomfortable things, and some things that make perfectly clear why we didn’t use them years and years ago when they were new. 8/16/09	Big cities certainly have their appeal, but there really is nothing like local news in a small town. Why just last night we learned that officials have authorized air support for fighting all the fires currently blazing in California “24-hours a day, during daylight hours” . Well, because we start off with classic Polish Literature today, meander through people disguised as oversized rodents, and then end up with adult stars happily seducing camera operators. Well, to be 100% accurate here, Gibby has been having trouble with our new javascript system for displaying the photos, and Maverick thought it would be “wonderfully cruel” to put even more Anais material up that poor Gibby wishes he could see on his Mac. … Now if any of the rest of you seem to be having the same problem (The screen darkens, but nothing else happens when you click on a picture.), we would appreciate you letting D.Minion know. So far we’ve been unable to duplicate the problem on any operating system or browser we can find, and we can find a lot of them, actually. 8/11/09	Double, double, toil, no trouble … . And if you’re acquainted with the Bard, then you can see how one little change can really throw the whole meaning out of whack. On the upside, we did keep the meter the same, and that should count for something. … OK. So it probably doesn’t count for much, since one syllable substitutions are pretty easy, but hanging out with Dee while she’s naked certainly counts for a great deal, and sharing the day with you for even more, we’d think. Being a fan of happy occasions, then, we decided to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the birth date of our new old friend, Uncle Gibby. OK, so as a purely technical matter we’re not sure how many times now His Gibbness has celebrated this same 50th birthday, but we definitely missed the real 50th one, so we decided to just go with that. Besides, it seems a safe bet that he didn’t have Anais and Chasey Lain to help him with the original one, so we’re thinking he won’t really mind. Also, he decided to share this bit of good fortune with everyone, which demonstrates just a bit of his sterling character, and he’s not even British. It’s good to know people that know people. 8/5/09	A dandy distraction from too much technical information can be a beautiful young woman like Jana talking dirty and performing willing intimate acts for a camera. Now you might say that such a diversion would be preferable to many things besides simply being geeked out, and you would be correct, obviously. 8/1/09	This has been an unusual summer in that we’ve had the unanticipated pleasure of working with a very talented 19-yr-old intern, although in honesty we do spend a good bit of our time telling him he’s not allowed to make fun of his elders as he’s explaining his current geek endeavors. We also have learned that Sirius Radio has a Hip-Hop station. Who knew? On the upside we’re a lot more comfortable with music for “young people” than we used to be as one of the songs we seem to hear a lot has the title, Wetter, and includes an oft’ repeating line of, “Will you be my daddy?” … Clearly listening to songs about lonely orphans in Seattle can’t be bad for one, right? … Have any sense of how crazy today may be in the Members’ Area yet?
