8/22/15	You know you have been blogging for a very long time when you answer a question posed by a newcomer on set with the response, “We’ll set you up with a password. You should read the Phaedra Alexis Story on the site.” And then you realize that this story took place a decade and a half ago at a time when the woman asking the question had yet to make it to second grade. Rather than make her research the topic, however, we put everything together for her (and you, consequently), added some things that we couldn’t do 15 years ago, and then tried not to fixate too much on the thought, “Good grief. 11/30/14	You know how the day before a long weekend turns into only technically a work day most of the time? Well, mix an upcoming four-day weekend with 80-degree temperatures at the beach, and … well, you’ll have to read it to believe it. 11/21/14	Our plan about getting everyone excited about the upcoming (“and completely revamped” as we hear it) convention in Las Vegas for AVN seems to be working almost too well. Now everyone in the office has been whining about how each of them really needs to go this year and what wonderful things they could accomplish if given the chance. Consequently it seemed appropriate to enhance Uncle Gibby’s Day Three coverage from last year with a little of Michael’s Temptation. Hopefully between that and some dazzling photos of Cytherea taken by Ginger Lynn we can cushion the inevitable despair that will soon follow as folks learn The Vegas Contingent will not change all that much this year. It seemed rather novel to actually give people enough notice to make some plans if they have always wanted to join us at one of these. 2/28/14	Our Head Writer ends her trilogy we call “Oui the People at AEE 2014” today, although for now she has resisted a growing movement suggesting she change her name from “D.Minion” to “B.Moaning” after reading her assessment of the younger adults targeting in the annual AVN convention. Fittingly we conclude with one of those Could be Hall of Fame performers, risqué favorite Tori Black. 2/24/14	Well, the Winter Olympics have now concluded leaving behind a few ecstatic individuals and the entire U.S. Figure Skating and Men’s Hockey teams wondering what the heck just happened. Bronco fans know how they feel, and being the helpful sort, a few of them put together a consideration of this year’s Best New Starlet contenders, most of whom also know exactly how many of us feel right now. They look a heck of a lot better feeling that way than we do, though. We will say that as Part II of D.Minion’s Convention Überview, though, we make it pretty easy to forget all about the Bronco coaches. 2/10/14	Apparently some people take figure skating very seriously. So when you offer an innocent commentary on the current Olympic team, some people can get quite irritated, and claim we’re being mean. … Hey, it’s not our fault that one of them looks like she took her makeup clues from Tim Curry’s character in The Rocky Horror Picture Show, and another one bears an eery resemblance to the human version of a hammerhead shark. They’re probably both kind, loving, wonderful people. But facts are facts, just like the hundredth of a second that can mean the difference between being remembered in the history books and being remembered only at your mom’s house.
