It is truly a liberating experience leaving Wisconsin in mid-Winter for the warmer confines of Las Vegas and the annual Adult Entertainment Expo. [Not to put too fine of a point on it, but it seems like it would be a “truly liberating experience” leaving Wisconsin at pretty much any time (possibly during Packers games excluded).]
This would be my sixth consecutive year attending the expo with the Risqué group. Unfortunately, two Risqué mainstays, Maverick and SteveD would not be in attendance due to pressing issues at home. [Or they were just being lazy bastards. That could have been it too.]

To quote Steve Martin, I was born a poor black child. My early life was spent on a dusty no-name farm deep in the heart of Texas. I never knew my daddy, but Mama did her best to raise us up right. [Does anyone else remember the Travis Tritt remake of the Elvis Presley song … “Hello T-R-O-U-B-L-E” when they hear “Mama did her best to try and raise us right” ?] We didn’t have as much as some, but she saw to it that our bellies were full most of the time, and I had lots of brothers and sisters to play with. Since that’s all I knew, I thought things were pretty good. Then one day my life changed completely. [Different Country Song: “If you want to hear God laugh, tell Him your plan.” ]
The whole family, Mama and all the kids, piled into the back of the old pickup. It was our first trip to town! Mama had told us about going to town and how exciting it would be and how our whole lives would change.

Back when Paul Fishbein owned AVN I used to joke with him that the worst job in the state had to be working for AVN on the Sunday after a Saturday night AVN Awards Show. For a long time the conventions used to be Thursday-Sunday, but they always held the Awards Show on Saturday nights. Sundays tended to be very sparsely attended, particularly in the morning hours. The winners would all show up with their trophies, of course, although in all honesty a good percentage of them had probably not been to bed yet. Still, the winners were happy, and proud, and they wanted everyone to know it.
The much larger percentage of people/companies that did not win, however, that percentage tends to be rather surly. Invariably some commotion or another arises about people that “bought” trophies. This year that focus apparently falls on Mia Malkova and her Best New Starlet victory.
Sometimes you just want to say, “Tell me about the Rabbits, George” — y’know, metaphorically. Being able to watch a story rather than read it can be fun, after all. In those moments we turn to streaming services, and (again, because people ask) these would be our personal go-to, Hall of Fame, watch them over again, productions in that genre.
Finally, if you need help with this one, well, we feel terrible for you, but nothing we could say would help fill the sad void in your existence. Have fun storming the castle.
Although you cannot currently get it for free, we would be remiss not to mention the all-time favorite series in these Risqué parts.
Truth be told, as often as one might hear, “Age o’ The Geek, Baby!” around here, an even more popular sentiment would have to be, “There’s something wrong with her.”
