5/30/09	The team has been working overtime doing another of those “Uh-Oh, D.Minion’s on set all day with women she likes” kinds of posts. If you’ve been around a while, you know what that means — pages and pages of story, 330 some odd photographs, and a collection of DM’s unusual videos. Still, it’s Paola Rey, Marie Luv, Jasmine Byrne … and some males. (They’re props. We don’t pay much attention to them.) We figure you might need the weekend to work your way through this one. 5/19/09	Most porn companies probably don’t send out memos something to the effect of, “Can you remember the name of a poet who just strung together nonsensical strings of words without even the pretense of sentences?” And then again, most porn companies would not then have received guesses from across the world as to the elusive name of the author. As for the fellow presumably in charge, he couldn’t remember either, but seemed to reject the most popular choices of Lewis Carroll (Jabberwocky) and Geoffrey Chaucer (although pretty much everything written that long ago sounds peculiar). On the upside, at least we were able to explain how Capri Anderson and our continued dedication toward new technological skills tied in to this seemingly obscure question, so that was a bonus. As you’ll hear clearly for yourselves, should you peruse this post, of course, Capri does state clearly that she “was a Go-Go Dancer for Opium” … although we should probably mention that she may [does] mean a night club in Miami. Holding the bizarre local record, “Steve” responded that he didn’t have time to think about this question because he needed to build a chicken coop. Fearless Leader pretty much just got distracted by that concept and all that it could portend as he wandered away. Never underestimate the job security inherent in bewildering the bosses. 5/16/09	A really bad pun may not surprise you if you have much experience around here at all, but if it makes the anticipation less tense, even real groaners are pretty easy to ignore when you have Cheyenne Silver around to distract you. Now technically, we suppose, we should at least mention that today’s written diversion actually takes place in the life of Dee, but we’ll explain all of that inside. SteveH has now been gone for years and years now, and at the AEE 2009 convention SteveD officially requested that he be “just Steve” from now on. 5/8/09	After all these years of publishing on the web, you’d think we’d run out of different ways to handle the articles. 7/27/05	Oh, boy … Now we’ve done it. For those of you that aren’t members of both sites, Michael (over at MichaelNinn.com obviously) recently wanted us to try putting D.Minion stories about his shoots over on his site too. Now we’ve always put them here if they inolved anyone we know and love, but a silly as it sounds Mr. Ninn sometimes does shoots that don’t include any Risqué women. I know. Crazy, huh? Anyway he loved the way it looked and the response it got, so now he wants us to do them for EVERY Ninn Worx shoot. Now it may not seem like it, but it’s a lot of work to post these stories the way we do, and since The Risqué Clan represents the major focus around here, we came up with a plan. We agreed to the task on the condition that y’all could see the “other” Ninn shoot stories too, and Michael agreed (happily, we might add). So today you get to see Porn Star which, although not technically starring anyone from our group, the movie does rather heavily relay on some personalities you may be very familiar with. That’s all we’ll say. We don’t mind helping Michael, but we’re still going to be nice about it. 7/25/05	One would think that working in the XXX Industry would be a fairly good job. Now we should probably dispell some myths here before we even get started, so “bare” [sic, we know] with us as we try not to ruin too many fantasies. … Hmm … This might be too large of a topic for a “New Stuff” lead-in, so let’s just go with the Bigee Myth: Women in the Porn Industry don’t actually have sex with anyone, anywhere, at the drop of a hat, or even trousers. OK. That’s over with. Actually this works exactly like most jobs. Everything gets old if you do it often enough. Honestly, the technical production of your favorite Adult Fare, probably wasn’t nearly as romantic as you might imagine. Put in more understandable terms, if you’re married it’s not that your spouse has “lost something” nearly so much as it is that you’re just really, really used to it. So don’t feel bad. (Do something about it, but don’t just sit around feeling bad.) More on point for the rest of us, as to today’s purposes we’ve called our wonderfully illustrated insights “Down in the Dolldrums” [still sic, we know]. 7/13/05	Well we assume that figuring out what went wrong should make us feel better, but basically it just means that we have a lot of “fixing” to do. Sigh. Still, the first lost story that surfaced from technical oblivion happened to be D.Minion’s account of the same Innocence shoot that Lon had an account of … sort of. There were a couple of shoots going on at the same time, and DM (this time around) only accounted for ONE of the two while still managing to get in 280 pictures and over 6,000 words. This is one of those many, many words posts, y’all, so prepare yourselves while we go look for some more of what we lost. Don’t worry too much though: We’re only looking for lost stories. We gave up looking for our minds some time ago. Call this D.Minion’s take on “Innocence and Slutty Innocence.” Oh, and there was a tie in the voting for the thumbnail to include here, so we just used them both. 7/7/05	Sometimes Lon just says it best. He had a chance to visit one of Michael’s sets a while back, and he had a camera with him (imagine that). 1/31/05	We don’t know quite how to describe Mav’s MEGA Report on Internext, the AEE, and the AVN Awards show except to say it’s BIG. It’s really, really BIG. There are well over 300 pictures and 7,000 words. Heck, we had to build the mother of all index pages, just to try to help people figure out where they are in the story when they come back to it. Let’s put it this way, from within the story and picture pages there are FORTY THREE individual links back to the index page. You’re going to need a lot of beer for this one, folks. Lots of pretty girls, though, and Lon becomes a Hip Hop artist. I guess if you’re really interested there are a lot of pictures of Juli Ashton, Kristal Summers, Paola Ray and Dee, and quite a few of Inari Vachs and Alicia Rhodes, surprisingly. 1/13/05	“Seventy-Six trombones led the big parade,” as I understand it. So that means that today’s post is better than a big parade, as it has 77 more pictures of the 2004 KSEX Awards show, this time taken by Foreign Correspondent Maverick. Now we need to explain three things. 1. We’re making no attempt to draw any correlation between trombones and photographs of partying porn stars, rather leaving to future generations of literary students an attempt to try to decipher what deep and tortured reasonings led us to this strange juxtaposition. 2. A simple fact of corporate America rejoices in giving someone a grand-sounding title like “Foreign Correspondent” rather than actual money, and 3. No. We do not think it at all strange that a straight man might know a few show tunes. I can also cook, but I can’t sew … so there. Ready to move on now? 1/8/05	If you’re reading this, well then Praise the Digital Dieties. That means you’re looking at the new server like you’re supposed to be. By the way, really, really smart people wouldn’t have chosen the end of the year … over the holidays … right before the largest annual industry convention in Las Vegas … at the same time as moving a home and office … as the perfect time to change hosting and billing companies for the two biggest sites we operate. Nope. That’s certainly not what a really, really smart person would have done. That’s just what we did. On the upside we still have many good contacts with some exceptionally beautiful women, like … let’s see … this is Kristal Summers, Becca, Dee, Inari Vachs, Cheyenne Silver, Juli Ashton, and Wendy Divine. It might be easier to just look inside the members’ area, rather than just believe us. The pictures get bigger in there. Actually a lot of things get bigger around these women. Go figure.
